Bitcoin Still Lasts Above IDR 1.6 Billion, Market Signs Still Positive

JAKARTA - The price of Bitcoin in early June 2025 is still stagnant in the range of 104,000 to 106,000 US dollars, or around Rp. 1.69 billion to Rp. 1.72 billion.

In addition, Bitcoin also managed to make a milestone by maintaining a level above US$100,000 (Rp1.6 billion) for 27 consecutive days.

According to Tokocrypto Analyst, Fyqieh Fachrur, this sideways movement is part of a normal market cycle. He explained that many long-term investors are now realizing profits after years of holding Bitcoin.

"The current movement is driven by profit-taking from the old holders. However, the market is still showing strength because there is no large macroeconomic pressure that suppresses deeper prices," said Fyqieh in a statement on Thursday, June 5.

According to Fyqieh, as long as Bitcoin is able to survive above the 104,000-105.000 (Rp1.69-1.7 billion) zone, this condition can be considered as a healthy consolidation phase, before breaking through 107,500 US dollars (Rp1.74 billion).

Because, Fyqieh explained, the area of 107,500 US dollars (Rp1.74 billion) is an important point that can open up opportunities for new record prices.

"However, until now there has been no large economic catalyst that has been able to encourage significant volatility in the crypto market," he explained further.

One of the factors that can help withstand selling pressure is the inflow to the Bitcoin spot ETF in the United States. On June 3.

However, sentiment towards former US President Donald Trump's trade policy and uncertainty towards the Fed's interest rate had burdened ETF's demand.

"Investors remain cautious ahead of US-China trade talks and release of US employment reports," he said.
