Komdigi Launches Korea-ASEAN Digital Academy Program With South Korea

CIKARANG - The Ministry of Communication and Digital together with Elice, a leading education technology company from South Korea, officially launched the Korea-ASEAN Digital Academy (KADA) program at the Digital Talent Center, BPPTKI Cikarang.

Deputy Minister of Communication and Trade, Nezar Patria, emphasized that this program is the government's commitment to producing and developing digital talents, amidst the rapid development of today's technology.

"Together we enter a new era marked by a very fast global digital transformation. The concept of collaboration and skill improvement is no longer just entertainment, but has become an absolute necessity," Nezar said in his remarks at the KADA Opening Ceremony on Thursday, June 5 in Cikarang.

The program will last for 2.5 months, focusing on improving practical skills and job readiness in the field of technology including Python programming, computer programming, artificial intelligence (AI), and cloud computing.

Nezar said that what distinguishes KADA from other training programs is the end-to-end approach that Elice applies. Where later, Elice will help distribute the work of around 50% of graduates through their industrial partner network.

Of the 160 registrants received 60. Based on our discussion with Elice, they try that at least 50% of these graduates can be absorbed by the industrial world. Of course, that is what is assisted through the networking owned by Elice," said Nezar further.

Program KADA merupakan bagian dari kelanjutan kerja sama pemerintah Indonesia dengan Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) di infrastruktur Digital Talent Center yang dibangun melalui kerja sama Indonesia-Korea.
