Jadon Sancho Confirms Leaving Chelsea, Will Return To Manchester United
JAKARTA - Jadon Sancho confirmed his departure from Chelsea on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, local time. He will return to Manchester United after a season-long loan period ends at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea reportedly failed to agree to private terms regarding the permanent agreement with the former England international player.
Chelsea will be forced to pay a fine of 5 million pounds to cancel their initial loan agreement with Manchester United, which carries an obligation to buy Sancho for about 25 million pounds.
Chelsea asked Sancho to receive a significant pay cut - more than 300 thousand per week - to match the wage structure at Stamford Bridge, but talks failed.
