Indonesia Open 2025: Adnan/Indah Becomes A Mixed Doubles Backbone
JAKARTA - Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahaya Sari Jamil will be the backbone of Indonesia's mixed doubles at the Indonesia Open 2025 because they are the only representatives left of the number in this tournament.
Adnan/Indah opened the victory of Indonesian representatives in the round of 16 of the tournament by defeating Hee Yong Kai Terry/Jin Yujia (Singapore) in two straight games 21-19 and 21-11 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
"We were a bit less in the first game when we made a lot of mistakes ourselves. In the future, we must not be careless and must from the start the game played with our game standards," said Adnan.
This result makes Adnan/Indah even more motivated to go further in the Super 1000 BWF level event. In the quarter-finals, they face French mixed doubles, Thom Gicquel/Delphine Delrue.
