Women's Volleyball National Team Targeted To Qualify For The Top 4 AVC Nations Cup 2025
JAKARTA The Indonesian Women's Volleyball national team is targeted to qualify for the last four of the AVC Women's Nations Cup 2025 even though it is minus the star of the Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi team.
Chairman of the Central Board of the Indonesian Volleyball Association (PP PBVSI), Imam Sudjarwo, conveyed the target at the team's release event which took place in Sentul on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
"This team is quite complete and competitive. Megawati is indeed permission not to participate this time, but she has stated her readiness to strengthen the team at the SEA V League and SEA Games 2025 events," said Imam.
If they succeed in achieving this target, the Indonesian Women's Volleyball National Team will have a ticket to the Volleyball World Championship. So, this tournament is important for Yolla Yuliana and her friends.
Imam expressed optimism for the squad that would compete in the name of the Indonesian nation. He assessed that the team sent was able to provide maximum results in the tournament.

AVC Women's Nations Cup 2025 is scheduled to take place in Hanoi, Vietnam, on 7-14 June 2025. The Indonesian Women's Volleyball national team has undergone long preparations to welcome this important event.
The selection process has been carried out strictly since the Proliga took place. The PBVSI Election Body team chose the squad based on the best players who played in the event.
In the AVC Women's Nations Cup 2025, Indonesia joined Pool B with Iran, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Mongolia, and New Zealand. A total of 11 countries took part in this championship.
