Leadership Transformation At Stellantis: Antonio Filosa Takes Over CEO Position

JAKARTA - Antonio Filosa is now Stellantis' Chief Executive Officer (CEO), after going through a rigorous selection process under the committee and Executive Chairman, John Elkann.

In the near future, Stellantis will hold a ceremony to hand over positions from John Elkann to Antonio Filosa, which will be effective from June 23, 2025. He was elected CEO after achieving significant achievements for more than 25 years in the automotive industry, supported by his leadership experience in various countries.

John Elkann, who previously filled the position of CEO, will continue his leadership as Executive Chairman. Meanwhile, Antonio Filosa will continue John's position as CEO.

" Antonio's deep understanding of the company, human resources and market conditions is an advantage that makes him suitable to occupy the position as CEO of Stellantis at this time and in the future," said John Elkann, in an official statement received on Thursday, June 5.

He further revealed that he had worked together with Antonio and looked directly at his strong strategy and leadership style amid various challenges and uncertain conditions in North and South America.

"This has proven his competence for the position as CEO, and we are optimistic that he can bring Stellantis to a promising future," he added.

Robert Peugeot as Stellantis Vice Chairman, also said he was very proud of Antonio's election as CEO of Stellantis. His successful leadership experience over the years has become concrete evidence, and has been supported by his deep knowledge of business processes.

Antonio Filosa Flying Hours

Antonio Filosa has led Stellantis as CEO in North and South America. During this time, he has successfully supported the FIAT brand as a leader in his class, as well as encouraged the growth of the Peugeot, Citroen, Ram and Jeep market share. In addition, he also founded Pernacumbo Plant as one of the largest automotive factories in South America, which has produced Jeeps for the Brazilian market and made them one of the leading brands outside the United States.

As CEO of Jeep, Antonio Filosa has strengthened the existence of the legendary brand globally, including in the European region where Jeep Fighter has become one of the best-selling and popular models.
