Prabowo Leaves For West Kalimantan, Attends Grand Panen And Releases Corn Prime Exports
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto left for West Kalimantan on Thursday, June 5 morning during a working visit to the corn harvest until he released the first export of corn to Malaysia.
As quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, June 5, the plane carrying the Head of State and a limited entourage took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 07.45 WIB.
President Prabowo's departure was released by a number of high-ranking officials, including Pangdam Jaya Maj. Gen. Rafael Granada Baay, Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Pol Karyoto, Kaskoopsud I Marsma TNI Prasetiya Halim, and Danlanud Halim Perdanakusuma Marsma TNI Erwin Sugiandi.
President Prabowo is scheduled to arrive at the Supadio Air Force Base, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan, and immediately continue his journey to Bengkayang Regency by helicopter.
In Bengkayang Regency, President Prabowo will harvest corn simultaneously in the second quarter, as part of efforts to increase agricultural productivity and achieve food self-sufficiency.
Not only that, this visit also marks an important momentum for national food logistics, with the inauguration of the "groundbreaking" for the simultaneous construction of 18 Polri warehouses in 12 Polda, as well as the inauguration of the Corn Dryer Warehouse.

Another agenda is the release of the first export of corn to Kuching, Malaysia, which shows an increase in the competitiveness of Indonesian agricultural products in the international market, especially in Southeast Asia.
Also accompanying President Prabowo on a flight to West Kalimantan is Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
