Indonesia Open 2025: Adnan/Indah Bungkam First Superior
JAKARTA Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil stopped the first seed Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet from reaching the second round of the Indonesia Open 2025.
Adnan/Indah managed to seal a landslide victory in a two-game straight 24-22 and 21-12 match against the Hong Kong pair on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
In addition to being able to repatriate the first seed, this victory also marked the sweet debut of the Vietnam Open 2024 champion at the BWF World Tour event which is at the Super 1000 level.
"Actually, we are without the burden of playing. If they are on paper, they must be superior. So, we took the opportunity to play more relaxed," said Indah after the match.

Adnan/Indah followed the couple Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, who locked the ticket on the first day, Tuesday, June 3, 2025, after beating Malaysian representatives, Wong Tien Ci/Lim Chiew Sien.
Unfortunately, the bitter pill day was swallowed by Dejan Ferdinansyah/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti. The couple returned home early in the first half because they were beaten by Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Supissara Paewsampran from Thailand.
This is Dejan/Fadia's fourth consecutive defeat to the world number six representative of the White Elephant Country. All of these defeats also occurred in this year's calendar.
"We have met the opponent four times, actually we already know the pattern of the opponent's game, but we still make a lot of mistakes ourselves," said Fadia.
Apart from Dejan/Fadia, the host representatives in the mixed doubles sector who had previously been eliminated were Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari and Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja.
Rinov/Pitha must recognize the superiority of Hee Yong Kai Terry/Jin Yu Jia (Singapore) and Rehan/Gloria to their knees in front of the French pair, Thom Gicquel/Delphine Delrue.
