More Interested, Jabodebek LRT Transports 2.29 Million Users Throughout May 2025
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI recorded a positive performance in the operation of the Jabodebek LRT. Throughout May 2025, 2,293,124 users were recorded to have used the Jabodebek LRT service.
Jabodebek LRT Executive Vice President Mochamad Purnomosidi said the figure increased by 10 percent or as many as 209,733 users compared to April.
"This performance is also supported by user growth both on weekdays and weekends," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, June 4.
Purnomosidi said the average daily user on weekdays reached 98,000 people, up 3 percent compared to April which recorded 95,031 people. Meanwhile, the average weekend user increased significantly to 44,794 people, or grew 11 percent from before.
Furthermore, Purnomosidi said the surge in the number of users was again recorded on certain days. The Jabodebek LRT recorded a record high throughout operations, which was 114,000 users in one day on May 28, 2025.
"This figure is a new achievement in the history of the Jabodebek LRT operation since its launch," he said.
Throughout May, the Jabodebek LRT has also operated 10,077 trips with an on-time performance rate of 99.48 percent showing consistency in efficient and reliable services.
The three stations with the highest number of users during May 2025 are Dukuh Atas BNI Station with 352,898 tap in users and 321,018 tap out users.
Then, Harjamukti Station with 263,768 tap-in users and 271,977 tap-out users. Then, Kuningan Station with 206,779 tap-in users and 195,656 tap-out users.

"Cumulatively, until the end of May 2025, the total number of Jabodebek LRT users has reached 10,727,798 users," he said.
Purnomosidi expressed his appreciation for the increasing public trust in the Jabodebek LRT service.
"We are grateful for the greater public trust in the Jabodebek LRT. This achievement is an encouragement for the Jabodebek LRT to continue to improve service quality, provide comfortable trips, and support the mobility of urban communities in a sustainable manner," said Purnomosidi.
