Transjabodetabek Sawangan-Lebak Bulus Route Officially Launches, Here's The Route

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno inaugurated the operation of the Transjabodetabek route from Sawangan, Depok to Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta with the code D41 bus.

Transjabodetabek Sawangan-Lebak Bulus via the Desei Toll Road, which was officially launched, was tested by the Deputy Mayor of Depok, Chandra Rahmansyah.

"Today, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, I declare that the Transjabodetabek route is inaugurated," said Rano when inaugurating Transjabodetabek at the Lebak Bulus Bus Stop, South Jakarta, Wednesday, June 4.

Rano said, there are 10 bus fleets serving this route, with six stops in Jakarta and five points outside Jakarta. The route has a travel time of around 150 minutes (going back and forth), while at an hour of not being busy is about 70 minutes (going back and forth).

"This is our joint effort of the Depok City Government (Pemkot) to reduce the use of private vehicles, so that they can reduce the level of congestion and reduce air pollution," explained Rano.

The points of dismissal from Sawangan to Lebak Bulus are Sawangan Terminal, Palung Intersection Confused 1, opposite Dana Sawangan Street, Fatmawati MRT Station, Siloam Hospital, and Lebak Bulus.

Then, the points of dismissal from Lebak Bulus to Sawangan were Lebak Bulus, Pondok Pinang, TB Simatupang Center, St Stefanus Church, Dana Sawangan Street, Parung Intersection were confused by 2, and Sawangan Terminal.

This Transjabodetabek Sawangan-Lebak Bulus route has a length of 37 kilometers. The waiting time between buses during peak hours is 10 minutes and outside of peak hours for 20 minutes.

Continuing, Deputy Mayor of Depok Chandra Rahmansyah believes that the operation of the Transjabodetabek Sawangan-Lebak Bulus can reduce the level of congestion in Depok because there is a transfer of the use of private vehicles to public transportation.

"In DKI Jakarta, the commuter community is 40 percent from Depok. So this is clearly very helpful for Depok City and we are optimistic that this will help Unravel the congestion on Jalan Raya Sawangan, which has been famous for its congestion," explained Chandra.
