First Bringed To Java Jazz 2025, Asti Asha Releases Ride Of Your Life Which Feels Personal

JAKARTA - Singer Asti Asha is back with her latest single, titled Ride of Your Life. According to the woman who is also known as the host and voice over talent, her new song is not just a song, but also a warm hug in the form of music that is born from personal experience.

The 'Ride of Your Life' was inspired by his beloved nephew who was left by his mother too quickly. Asti wrote and released this single as a form of love, hope and protection that was not spoken.

"Seeing them immersed in grief, only one thought of: if I could give them protection, direction or just a guide when the world collapsed," Asti said in a written broadcast, June 2.

"I really can't get rid of that pain, but I want them to know that one day, everything will get better," he added.

Behind this emotional composition, many teams of talented musicians were involved in it. The song and lyrics were written directly by Asti Asha with a touch of Music Production from Harris Pranowo. The Vocal Background arrangement was entrusted to Nesia Ardi, while the Editing Vocal process was handled by Kevin Queency. The Mixing process was carried out by Rayendra Sunito, and Mastering was entrusted to Dimas Pradipta. This makes the Ride of Your Life' a song that feels intimate but still classy.

The 'Ride for Your Life' was first performed on the Java Jazz Festival 2025 stage, to be precise on May 30, 2025. This appearance will also be an emotional moment for Asti because she can share the story of this song directly with the public for the first time.

Asti Asha herself started her musical journey at the age of 14, performing jazz, pop, and R&B songs at Jakarta cafes. Her first single Ganggamlah kehitungan which was released in 2014 and The Loop which was released in 2017 all featured a rich musical color with a common thread in the form of a message of hope in each of her works.

Now, while studying the Business Communication Masters at the Jakarta LSPR through the scholarships he has achieved, Asti continues to show that music is an inseparable part of his life.
