Minister Of Health Responds To Reshuffle Issues: That's His Right

JAKARTA - Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin responded to the issue of his replacement or a reshuffle from the arrangement of ministers in the Red and White Cabinet that President Prabowo Subianto will carry out by stating that the decision is the President's right.

After holding a meeting with President Prabowo Subianto for 2.5 hours at the Jakarta Presidential Palace, the Minister of Health responded to reporters' questions about the issue that he would be dismissed by the President.

"Wow, that's his right. Ask him, yes," said the Minister of Health as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 3.

When asked about the possibility of a cabinet reshuffle that became a discussion with President Prabowo, the Minister of Health joked.

"We discussed where the journalists want to be moved," said the Minister of Health with a smile.

When asked further about the possibility of the Minister of Health receiving a warning from President Prabowo due to his statement that drew cons from the public, the Minister of Health again joked at reporters.

"We were given two glasses of coconut water to drink," he said.

President Prabowo on several occasions stated that he did not hesitate to dismiss officials who were unable to carry out their duties.

"Don't be a mantra, don't be Pancasila into a slogan. The wealth of the Indonesian nation is great, the wealth of the Indonesian people must be enjoyed by all Indonesian people. All irregularities, all leaks must stop, all officials who are unable to carry out their duties are better off before I stop them," said the President when giving a mandate at the Commemoration Ceremony of the Birthday of Pancasila at the Pancasila Building, Jakarta, Monday (2/6).

The President emphasized that there should no longer be poverty and hunger in Indonesia. The Head of State also asked the people to participate in monitoring various violations that occurred and did not hesitate to report them.
