Cooperation Technology For The Placement Of Medical Personnel To Canada, Karding: Efforts To Build Trust In European Countries

JAKARTA - Minister of Protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) Abdul Kadir Karding said the signing of the cooperation or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the New Brunswick Provincial Government, Canada, was an effort to open up opportunities for employment in the health sector.

The signing of the MoU between the Indonesian government and Canada was carried out in the VIP Room of Minangkabau Airport, Padang, West Sumatra (West Sumatra) on Tuesday, June 3.

In addition, the signing of the MoU is also a step to increase the trust of European countries with Indonesian workers.

It is hoped that Indonesian workers will get a good image, such as work ethic to good attitude

"This is important (the cooperation in the placement of Indonesian migrant workers) to build trust in the country (Canada) that our workforce is a workforce that is not only skilled, but has a good work ethic, an attitude of good work and strong professionalism," said Karding.

Karding also said that the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Ministry (KemenP2MI) was in the process of opening cooperation in the placement of migrant workers with several European countries.

If cooperation is later established, then the employment of the Indonesian people will be wider. This will also have a positive impact on the community's economy.

"Those who are in the process of Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, we have also collaborated, and America is also in the process, Spain we are also in the process for several sectors," said Karding.
