Molotov Bomb Thrower To Pro Israel Demonstration In Colorado Admits He Wants To Kill All Zionists
JAKARTA - An Egyptian citizen who threw Molotov cocktails at a crowd of pro-Israel demonstrations in Boulder, Colorado, USA is known to have planned his attack for a year.
The perpetrator used Molotov cocktails in exchange for firearms because his status as a foreign national prevented him from buying firearms.
As reported by Reuters on Tuesday, June 3, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, told investigators he wanted to "kill everyone Zionist" but delayed carrying out the attack until after his daughter graduated from high school, according to state and federal court documents.
Soliman has been charged with attempted murder, assault, and federal hate crimes.
Soliman attended a firearm training to obtain permission to carry a hidden weapon but ended up using a Molotov cocktail because of his immigration status.
To investigators, Soliman admitted that he learned how to make Molotov cocktails from YouTube.
Federal authorities say Soliman is in the country illegally, after crossing the tourist visa deadline and expired work permits.

Donald Trump's government officials immediately considered Sunday's violence as an example of the reasons for cracking down on illegal immigration.
A statement letter from the police filed to support a warrant for Soliman's arrest said he was born in Egypt, lived in Kuwait for 17 years and moved three years ago to Colorado Springs, about 100 miles (161 km) south of Boulder, where he lives with his wife and five children.
"Given yesterday's horrific attack, all terrorists, their family members, and terrorist sympathizers here who have visas should know that under Trump's administration, we will find you, revoke your visa, and deport you," US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on X.
The federal and local governments at a press conference in Boulder said Soliman had done nothing to attract the attention of law enforcement before Sunday's incident on June 1. The perpetrators are believed to have acted alone.
According to an Boulder police statement, Soliman has been planning an attack on Pearl Street Mall for a year, a popular pedestrian shopping district near the University of Colorado.
The statement letter said the suspect "throwed two Molotov cocktails that light up at the people participating in the pro-Israel meeting," shouting, "Free Palestine".
