BAIC Will Bring BJ30 Hybrid To Indonesia, Launching At GIIAS 2025

JAKARTA - This year, BAIC Indonesia will certainly add one more model to enliven the national automotive market with a hybrid BJ30.

This assurance was expressed directly by BAIC Indonesia Chief Operating Officer Dhani Yahya, he said the company would increase the ranks of car models, one of which was BAIC BJ30 Hybrid.

"We know that the concerns from vehicle users about the environment and fuel are more efficient (related to the launch of the latest model)," he said, when met at the Handal factory, Purwakarta, Monday, May 2.

Dhani Yahya revealed that the hybrid car to be brought to Indonesia (BJ30 Hybrid) has quite good specifications, even one refueling plus the battery can cover a distance of more than 1,200 km.

"Later we will market CBU first, and we will bring it in two types, namely 4x2 and 4x4," he added.

Later, the BAIC BJ30 hybrid will be positioned under the locally assembled BJ40 in Indonesia. Unfortunately, he did not describe the price range of the latest model that will launch at the end of July.

In design, this one car offers a boxy style that is indeed the hallmark of an off-road car, at first glance it is similar to Jeep Renegade which offers a dashing impression in every exterior corner.

Of course, it is worth waiting for the presence of this hybrid car from BAIC which will be introduced at the GIIAS 2025 event next July.
