Witness Relieves: Many Sympathizers Of Rizieq Shihab Are Stubborn, Don't Wear Masks
JAKARTA - Former head of the Indonesian Red Crescent Society FPI Ali Al Hamid said that many of Rizieq Shihab's sympathizers were stubborn, by not implementing health protocols (prokes) properly during the Prophet's birthday and wedding parties in Petamburan.
This was conveyed by Ali when he was a witness to mitigate the trial of the crowd case in Petamburan with the defendant Rizieq Shihab and five former FPI officials.
Ali told of the application of the health protocol when the presiding judge Suparman Nyompa asked Ali about the implementation of the prokes.
Then, Ali explained that some of the masses who attended the activity neglected to implement the prokes. So, they must be reprimanded so that they follow this recommendation.
"Did you see everyone wearing masks?" asked Suparman Nyompa during a trial at the East Jakarta District Court, Monday, May 3.
"Some are not, we continue to use masks, some have been distributed but have to be sent to remind us," Ali replied.
"So there are those who are using it, is there something that is not ?," continued Ali.
Ali's answer was not much different when the judge questioned the question of maintaining distance. He said many of Rizieq's sympathizers were close to each other at the event.
In fact, Rizieq's sympathy had already been warned to comply with health protocols.
The judge then asked about other situations. "Maintain a distance?" asked the judge.
"We asked to keep our distance, but the fact is that there are also many close proximity," said Ali.
