Here's The PIS Strategy To Answer The Challenges Of The Global Shipship And Logistics Industry
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) a subsidiary of Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) revealed a number of challenges faced in the shipping and logistics industry.
The President Director of PTK, I Ketut Laba, said that actually the growth in demand for ships would continue to increase in line with economic growth of around 5 percent and growth in demand for oil 4.5 percent and volume of oil transportation growing gradually by 5 percent. Pertamina, said Ketut, also consistently continues to update the digitization of the shipping system to produce operational efficiency, maintenance management and the application of energy-efficient technology including cleaning the hull.
