Tugu Jakut Stadium Installed With FIFA Standard Grass, Pramono: I Am Sure To Be A Proud Stadium
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung reviewed the revitalization process of the Tugu Stadium, Koja District, North Jakarta. Pramono shows off the condition of synthetic grass which is claimed to be FIFA standard.
"If you look at the grass, the grass is extraordinary and has received a certificate from FIFA. If the certificate is from FIFA, then international players can also play in this place," said Pramono, Monday, June 2.
Tugu Stadium began to be revitalized since October 2022 with the laying of the first stone (groundbreaking) by former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.
Revitalization is divided into two stages of development with a budget disbursed from flat compensation. The first phase has increased by IDR 79.94 billion. Then, the second stage will be continued at a cost of IDR 101 billion.
"Why is it divided into two stages? Because we really want to see the process going well. The process is going well," explained Pramono.
In the second stage, the DKI Provincial Government will revitalize the stands and increase the capacity of spectators which can be accommodated by 4,200 to 5,000 people.
In addition, the Tugu Stadium will also be paired with Betawi-style ornaments, such as the installation of bond decorations which become a typical symbol of Betawi architecture.
"It is strengthening to create a more modern and no less important stadium, in accordance with my message for new buildings, the Betawi ornament must appear," explained Pramono.

Furthermore, Pramono revealed that the post-revitalization Tugu Stadium is projected to become an arena for the North Jakarta Indonesian Football Association (Persitara) match so that they can have better playing performance.
"We believe that in the second and third stages, if it can be completed, hopefully by the end of December 2025, it will be finished. So that Persitara, who did not have a League, suddenly became League 3," he said.
