Manchester United Agrees On Matheus Cunha's Transfer From Wolves For 62.5 Million Pound
JAKARTA - Manchester United has approved the recruitment of forward Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers pending the visa and registration process.
ESPN previously reported that the Red Devils activated a 62.5 million transfer clause in Brazil's international contract at Molineux.
He will reportedly sign a five-year contract with the option of an extension of another year.
Manchester United agreed to pay the fee for two years after initially trying to negotiate a deal that would make the money paid for four or five years.

Cunha's recruitment came after Manchester United provided money for head coach Ruben Amorim this summer.
However, it is likely that there will be players leaving Old Trafford. The widely heard rumors are Manchester United wanting to release Antony this summer, as well as Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho. Winger Alejandro Garnacho is also likely to leave.
