Tansh Transport 97,000 Passengers During Long Weekend

PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) recorded passenger volume reaching 97,000 people from May 28 to June 1, 2025 or during the long weekend holiday in commemoration of the Ascension of Jesus Christ.

On average, during this period alone served 19 to 20,000 passengers per day, an increase of about 15 percent compared to normal days in the range of 16,000 to 18,000 passengers per day. The highest passenger volume was recorded on Thursday, May 29, 2025, with 20,669 passengers in one day.

"Followed by Padalarang Station with 71,000 passengers, Tegalluar Summarecon Station with around 24,000 passengers, and Karawang Station with 7,000 passengers," he said.
