After Held, Indonesia Fashion Week 2025 Success Celebrates Ronakultura Jakarta
JAKARTA - The biggest fashion week event in Indonesia, BTN Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) 2025 has officially ended after being held since May 28 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan, Central Jakarta.
This year, IFW has again succeeded in providing platforms to players in the Indonesian fashion industry by cooperating with hundreds of well-known designers, brand owners, fashion house owners, fashion and craft craftsmen to MSME players to celebrate this year's IFW theme, Ronakultura Jakarta.
Ronakultura itself comes from a combination of the words Ronak (semarak) and Kultura (cultural) which are expected to describe the spirit of Jakarta as a dynamical city, continues to move, and is colorful as a place of traditional culture and a contemporary lifestyle that crosses each other to form Jakarta's signatures.
"BTN Indonesia Fashion Week 2025 is the result of collaboration between APPMI, Bank BTN as a title sponsor and official bank partner, as well as the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as the main inspiration for the theme Ronakultura Jakarta reflects the spirit of the capital as a culture that is alive, lively, and colorful," said Poppy Dharsono as President of Indonesia Fashion Week.
"Fashion is not just a display, but a form of expression of culture and identity. Through Ronakultura, IFW 2025 wants to show how Jakarta is in the process of being an inspiration as well as a stage for creativity and continuing to evolve to form an identity," said Poppy Dharsono.
President Director of BTN Nixon LP Napitupulu said the company is collaborating with the Indonesian Fashion Entrepreneurs Association (APPM) in the IFW 2025 event because the fashion industry has a multiplier effect on hundreds of MSMEs so that it becomes one of the strengths of the country's economy. Not only that, the Indonesian fashion industry is no less qualified than foreign fashion brands that are already global.

Starting last year, said Nixon, BTN has supported Indonesian fashion industry players.

In his remarks, the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia Widiyanti Putri Wardhana said, IFW proves that the fashion and tourism industry has a strong relationship because both of them foster creativity while promoting Indonesian cultural wealth.
"With the close collaboration between the fashion industry, tourism, and the local community, I believe Indonesia can grow as a magnet of the fashion and culture industry in Southeast Asia, building an ecosystem that is inclusive, resilient, and globally competitive," said the Minister of Tourism.
