Early Childhood Women's Football MilkLife Soccer Challenge Needs Support From Parents And Schools

JAKARTA The early childhood women's soccer tournament entitled MilkLife Soccer Challenge requires encouragement and support from parents and school institutions amidst the increasing trend of participants.

Head Coach of MilkLife Soccer Challenge, Timo Scheunemann, said that the support from the two elements for the event initiated by the Djarum Foundation and MilkLife Sports Service is one of the important keys to the development of women's soccer talent.

"So what is expected is that parents and schools should not put pressure or burden on them. This is their childhood," said the coach who has had an UEFA A license since 2007 in a statement.

MilkLife Soccer Challenge has continued to make various innovations from series to series since it started last year. This is done so that early women's soccer continues to increase and embraces students who are much more massive.

At this time, the MilkLife Soccer Challenge not only competes in the 10 year age group (KU) and KU-12, but also in the SenengSoccer Festival. This festival specifically targets KU-8.

Timo explained that this festival aims to create regeneration for the above age level, especially the KU-10. It is hoped that through this event, students will fall in love with football and then seriously engage it.

"We are committed to continuing to foster, maintain and care for the women's soccer ecosystem so that we also provide a forum in the form of the SenengSoccer Festival," he said.

MilkLife Soccer Challenge 2025 has just finished the Bandung series on Sunday, June 1, 2025. The series took place at Pusenif PPI Bandung Field, West Java.

From KU-12, SDN 073 Pajagalan B managed to defend the title after winning in the penalty shootout against SDN 203 Kacapiring. SDN 075 Jatayu was also able to bring back the champion title after defeating the SDN 035 Soka team.

In total there are 1,711 students from 71 Elementary Schools (SD) and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) from Bandung and its surroundings participating in the 2025 Bandung Series Soccer Challenge MilkLife.

This number has increased significantly compared to the previous two series. First, in June 2024, 536 students earned and then the second increased threefold to 1,564 students.
