Pancasila Birthday Commemorated Today, Traffic Around Pancasila Building Diverted
Polda Metro Jaya appealed to the public to avoid a number of roads around the Pancasila Building, Central Jakarta, on Monday, June 2 in connection with the ceremony to commemorate the Birthday of Pancasila.
This state ceremony will take place from 08.00 WIB to 11.00 WIB, and is chaired directly by President Prabowo Subianto. The ceremony was also attended by Vice President (Wapres) Gibran Rakabuming Raka, leaders of state institutions, the TNI-Polri, and other national figures.
Through uploads on his official Instagram account (@tmcpoldametro), TMC Polda Metro Jaya said that traffic diversion will be carried out around the location of the ceremony to ensure smooth running of the event.
Roads affected by diversion include Banteng Barat Street, Taman Pejambon Street, and Kwini II Street. Two-wheeled and four-wheeled riders are advised to use alternative routes to avoid congestion in the area.
"The National Police of the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya will divert traffic flow leading to Jalan Taman Pejambon, Central Jakarta," wrote a statement in the TMC upload.
Meanwhile, the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) has issued the Head Circular Letter of BPIP Number 5 of 2025 as an adjustment to the implementation of the 2025 Pancasila Birthday commemoration, replacing the previous circular.
In the letter, it is stated that the ceremony at the central level will be held on Monday (2/6/2025) at 10.00 WIB in the courtyard of the Pancasila Building. The lowering of the flag is scheduled for 16.00 WIB on the same day, but without the presence of participants and invited guests.

BPIP also requires the raising of the Red and White Flag for two full days, namely on June 1 and 2, 2025. The theme of this year's Pancasila Birthday commemoration is Strengthening the Pancasila Ideology Towards Greater Indonesia.
