OJK Urged To Investigate Money Flow From Online Gambling At Crypto Market

The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) report stated that the circulation of money related to online gambling reached Rp359.8 trillion.
Of that amount, there are IDR 28 trillion that ran abroad via crypto. This phenomenon is exacerbated by the fact that the volume of transactions through global exchanges now reaches USD 15 billion, well above local Digital Financial Asset Traders (PKAD) who only recorded around USD 5 billion.
Based on Crypto CrimeReport data, there are indications of money laundering through this crypto asset amounting to US$8.6 billion in 2022, this is equivalent to Rp139 trillion globally. Central Budget Analysis (CBA) highlighted the weak regulation and supervision of the crypto asset control agency.
According to the Director of CBA,Uchok Sky Gaddafi, the failure of the widower occurred at the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (CoFTRA) until the transfer of authority and supervision to the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Where the OJK is not open to the public when verifying the requirements for tokens of the nation's children.

"This verification is not open to make OJK seem to issue permission carelessly, or it is suspected that there is a sale and purchase permit," said Uchok.
So that Uchok Sky is confused, seeing many irregularities in passing licenses for domestic crypto assets called tokens for the nation's children and from abroad.
"The OJK should be careful with this permit so that this crypto company is not a comfortable place for corruptors to launder money and also a place to collect money from online gambling profits," said Uchok Sky.
"Do not let OJK wash dishes for the ratification of crypto assets in Indonesia, one example of washing OJK dishes, the ASIX child token released in February 2022, belonging to Anang Hermansyah, which had decreased," continued Uchok.
CBA asks the OJK to take firm action against the AXIS children's token, belonging to Anang Hermansyah. Which has harmed the community because prices have been destroyed. In line with CBA, Smart Global Investment Alert (CWIG) highlighted the problem of the fatigue of this nation's children's token.
Chairman of the Smart Global Investment Alert (CWIG) Henry Hosang highlighted that one of the ASIX + or ASIX v2 child tokens is suspected of deceiving the public.
"Anang Hermansyah must be responsible for all the roadmaps of his sweet promise at the beginning of the launch of the token, now the roadmap is stalled," Henry told reporters.
