Melodi For Legend: Remembering Titiek Puspa At The Java Jazz Festival 2025

JAKARTA - Tribute for Titiek Puspa is featured in the concept of a performance titled Sing Along at the Java Jazz Festival (JJF) 2025 which will be held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta this weekend, May 30 - June 1.

Adikara, Danilla, Bilal Indrajaya, and Krisdayanti took turns on stage to perform hits from Indonesian music legends who died on April 10.

Kris Dayanti as the most senior singer who appears to appreciate JJF, whom he calls not only introducing jazz music, but also cultural heritage.

"Tonight, the Java Jazz stage provides not only room for growth, but also introducing jazz as a cultural heritage. Applause for Java Jazz," said Kris Dayanti.

Tribute Titiek Puspa is a form of love for the legend, which has inspired many singers and musicians from the next generation.

"And tonight, we want to make the late Titiek Puspa smile proud," said the member of the Three Diva.

"And the late Titiek is always in our hearts," he added.

He also called the JJF event a music event full of happiness such as Titiek Puspa which also continues to inspire many listeners.

"Java Jazz Festival always inspires us to live happily like the songs of Mami Titiek Puspa," said Kris Dayanti.

Furthermore, the 50-year-old singer expressed her pride, seeing that Jakarta had hosted the world music grand event.

"Jakarta is almost 500 years old and we are proud that Jakarta is the best host for the grand event of gathering extraordinary talents and the best works from the jazz world," said Kris Dayanti.

"Even though I didn't sing jazz songs, I'm happy to be in front of all of you. Thank you," he added.

A number of legendary songs belonging to Titiek Puspa were also performed in this tribute, including Titiek Cinta, Kupu-Kupu Malam, Cinta, Bing, Bimbi, Marilah Kemarin, dan Gang Kelinci.
