The Flow Of Foreign Funds Entered Rp1.50 Trillion To The Domestic Finance Market For The Fourth Week Of May

JAKARTA Bank Indonesia (BI) revealed that based on transaction data from 26 to 27 May 2025, it was recorded that there was an incoming foreign capital inflow in non-residents in the domestic financial market, which recorded a net purchase of IDR 1.50 trillion.

Executive Director of the Communication Department, Ramdan Denny Prakoso, said that foreign funds entering came from Government Securities and Shares (SBN), while there was a flow of foreign funds issued at the Bank Indonesia Rupiah Securities (SRBI).

"It consists of buying net Rp0.11 trillion in the stock market and Rp2.02 trillion in the SBN market, as well as selling net amounting to Rp0.63 trillion in the Bank Indonesia Rupiah Securities (SRBI)," he explained through an official statement, quoted on Sunday, June 1.

Selama tahun 2025, berdasarkan data setelmen sampai dengan 27 Mei 2025, nonresident tercatat beli neto sebesar Rp47,10 triliun di pasar SBN, serta jual neto sebesar Rp45,34 triliun di pasar saham dan Rp7,22 triliun di SRBI.

In line with these developments, Denny said that the Indonesian CDS premium 5 years as of 27 May 2025 was 79.33 bps, down compared to 23 May 2025 of 82.56 bps.
