Thief 1,61298 Cubic Meters Kayu Jati In Blora Steps On Gas After Hitting A Police Car
BLORA - Blora Police together with the Buser Perhutani team KPH Cepu managed to uncover a case of theft of teak wood with evidence of a wooden truck and stolen wood as much as 1,61298 cubic meters.
"The disclosure of the teak wood theft case began with reports of the theft of teak wood in the forest area of Nglebur Village, Jiken District, which was received by Deputy Administrator Perhutani KPH Cepu Lukman Jayadi and Sender Pasarsore Gono," said Sambong Police Chief Blora AKP Tejo Utomo in Blora, Saturday, May 31, confiscated by Antara.
Following up on the report, he said, the Perhutani Buser team KPH Cepu pursued a truck suspected of carrying stolen wood and asked for help in blocking it from the Sambong Police, Blora.
"Our officers are on standby in front of the Sambong Police Headquarters, but they did not get the truck across the route we expected," he said.

Apparently, he said, the stolen timber truck took a different direction towards Jalan Pojokwatu-Gagakan in Sambong District, then broke through to the Ngroto area, Cepu District.
Knowing this, the Sambong Police patrol team immediately gave chase.
The chase between the police and a truck loaded with stolen teak wood was inevitable on Saturday, May 31 at around 02.15 WIB.
However, the collision of a police vehicle with a truck in the Ngroto area caused the pursuit to end. The truck numbered K-8804-Y carrying the stolen teak was then stepped on the gas and fled.
"The truck driver who fled was reported to be carrying a sharp weapon of the type of sword. Officers are still hunting for the perpetrator," he said.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Administrator of KPH Cepu Lukman Jayadi confirmed the theft.
He said the evidence of teak wood that was successfully secured was 1.61298 cubic meters, with an estimated loss potential of IDR 7.294 million.
"This case is currently still under investigation by the police," said Lukman.
