JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani issued regulations regarding government spending, including the minister's meal fees during a meeting.

In the regulation, the cost of consumption can be in the form of heavy eating or snacks.

This is as stated in the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 32 of 2025 concerning Standard Input Fees for Fiscal Year 2026. The regulation was signed by Sri Mulyani on May 14, 2025 and was legally promulgated on May 20, 2025.

"The meeting/meeting consumption unit is a unit of costs used for food and snacks procurement costs, including drinks for meetings/meetings for both ministerial/deputy ministerial/echelon I/equivalent coordination meetings as well as for regular meetings and held offline for at least two hours," wrote the PMK, quoted on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

In the regulation, it is explained that for consumption money, ministerial-level officials are entitled to a maximum meal of IDR 118,000 per meeting. Then for snacks or snacks, the most expensive food is IDR 53,000 per person per meeting.

The maximum amount of cost for meeting consumption also applies to state officials at echelon I level or equivalent to the position of director general (dirjen) or deputy at the ministry/institution.

Meanwhile, other employees under echelon I the most expensive cost for consumption is adjusted to their respective provinces.

For example, in the DKI Jakarta area, consumption money for heavy meal costs is set at up to Rp. 53,000 / person per meeting for heavy food. Then, the cost of snack snacks is set at a maximum of Rp. 24,000 per person for each meeting.

Furthermore, the highest employee consumption costs are in the Papua Mountains Province with a total of IDR 135,000. This value is divided into IDR 93,000 per person for each meeting for heavy food and IDR 42,000 for light snacks.

On the other hand, the lowest consumption costs are in Central Kalimantan Province, where for heavy meal consumption money is provided the most expensive is IDR 42,000 per person for each meeting and snacks IDR 16,000.
