Former KPK Investigator Recruited By BP Haji, Gerindra: Prabowo Committed To Eradicating Corruption In Organizing Hajj
JAKARTA - Gerindra Party politician Hendarsam Marantoko said President Prabowo Subianto was committed to eradicating corrupt practices in the realm of organizing Hajj.
This can be seen from the inauguration of a former KPK investigator in the Firli Bahuri era who became a supervisor at the Hajj Organizing Body.
"Because in this sector even though this is the base of religion, there are a lot of collusion and corruption here. This is what he (President Prabowo Subianto) is looking at," said Hendarsam as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 31.
According to Hendarsam, it was recorded that seven former KPK employees had been recruited to oversee work within the Hajj Organizing Body.
Prabowo hopes that the former KPK employees can provide their best performance so that corrupt practices and collusion in the realm of organizing the hajj can be detected and prevented.
Not only in the realm of organizing the hajj, Hendarsam assessed that so far Prabowo has also seriously uncovered corruption cases in other areas.
This can be seen from the activeness of the Attorney General's Office and the KPK in uncovering corruption cases at the beginning of Prabowo Subianto's leadership.
Hendarsam believes that Prabowo's seriousness in eradicating corruption will continue as long as his government is in order to create a clean government in accordance with Asta Cita.
