JAKARTA - The driver of the car that hit the Liverpool supporters crowd, England, began to undergo trial. The defendant was examined for his identity while undergoing his first trial.

Paul Doyle, a resident of West Derby in Liverpool, was charged with seven offenses including driving in a dangerous manner and two charges resulted in intentional injuries.

The 53-year-old appeared at Liverpool's Masters Court on Friday, May 30.

"This indictment emerged from the incident at around 6 pm on May 26 in the city center," Prosecutor Philip Astbury said during a trial.

When a large crowd left the shore after Liverpool's winning parade at EPL, the defendant, the prosecutor said, accidentally hit people among the crowd.
