Prabowo And Macron Dinner Presented Indonesian Typical Menu, From Soto Banjar To Sate Maranggi

JAKARTA - The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, held a gala dinner to welcome French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron at the State Palace in Jakarta, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

The dinner crowd stole the attention because it was filled with Indonesian nuances. One of them can be seen on the Indonesian dinner menu served to welcome Emmanuel Macron and his wife.

Quoted from the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia, on Friday, May 30, 2025, the dinner menu was divided into three, namely the opening menu, main menu, and closing menu.

The opening menu is the Jimbaran Sea Sari, which is a popular seafood dish in the Jimbaran area, Bali. Another opening menu is Soto Banjar, which is a unique and delicious soto dish from Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan.

Then for the main menu, maranggi beef is served, which comes from West Java. This food is famous for its soft meat and spices that absorb so that it tastes very delicious on the tongue.

In the closing menu, coffee and chocolate are served. The coffee served is coffee from North Sumatra, precisely Mandailing, which is famous for producing Arabica Mandheling coffee.

The coffee is combined with delicious chocolate cake, which in the topping section is presented with various fruit variants that add to its deliciousness. In addition, in the dessert menu also served orange juice, guava juice, to toast drink without alcohol.
