PT JPM Anticipates Queues At GT Pandaan-Malang During The Long Holiday

PT Jasa Marga Pandaan Malang (JPM) has prepared steps to anticipate long queues of vehicles due to the high mobility of people at the Pandaan-Malang Toll Gate (GT) during the long holiday of the Ascension of Jesus Christ, from May 29 to June 1, 2025.

President Director of PT JPM Netty Renova in Malang Regency, East Java, Thursday, said that during this long holiday moment his party had prepared dozens of wireless payment tools, mobile readers.

"PT JPM has confirmed the readiness of 17 mobile reader units distributed at the Pandaan-Malang Toll Gate," said Netty.

The provision of 17 mobile reader aims to speed up the process of paying entrance rates at each gate on the toll road.

According to him, with the payment system, toll road service users do not need to queue for too long, because the officers who will come to them are tapping e-money cards.

"This has become part of our readiness during long holidays and is part of support for smooth traffic during long holidays," he said.

Not only that, Netty said that she had provided 24-hour crane services to help people who had problems with their vehicles when crossing the Pandaan-Malang Toll road area.

"It was monitored by the East Region's Jasa Marga Traffic Information Center (JMTIC) to ensure the comfort of toll road users," he said.

Then, the next effort is to ensure the smooth flow of motorized vehicles during the long holiday by alerting special teams, such as hole sweeps, pump equipment, and coldmix materials.

He said the team was on standby for a full 24 hours to maintain the comfort of road users traveling.

"At rest areas and services (TIP) at KM 66 and KM 84 towards Malang and Surabaya, toilet facilities, places of worship, and other public facilities have been checked so that they continue to function optimally," he said.

He appealed to toll road users to ensure that the vehicle is in prime condition.
