Plt. Deputy I Chief Of Presidential Staff Of KSP Tinjau For The Tarakan City MBG Program
TARAKAN The Indonesian government ensures that the fulfillment of nutrition in the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program goes well and evenly to the community, especially to children as the next generation of the nation.
This commitment was realized by Plt. Deputy I of the Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP), Lt. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Dr. Hilman Hadi, during his working visit to Tarakan City, North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Wednesday, May 28.
Hilman Hadi was accompanied by Acting Secretary of the Province (Sekprov) of Kaltara Bustan, Mayor of Tarakan, Khairul and the ranks of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) conducted a review of several Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) in Tarakan City.
SPPG West Tarakan became the first to be visited, then SPPG Juata Kritil in North Tarakan.
Hilman Hadi took the time to have a direct dialogue with the officers and the beneficiary community, ensuring that nutrition fulfillment services run optimally and the distribution of aid is right on target.
His next visit to the Kitchen of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) of the Indonesian Navy Tarakan, Plt. Deputy I of the KSP Presidential Chief of Staff reviewed the process of preparing and managing nutritious food prepared to support government strategic programs, including fulfilling nutrition for school children.
In an effort to improve the quality of education through fulfilling nutrition, Hilman Hadi visited several schools that were beneficiaries of the Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG).
During a visit to SD Negeri 50 Tarakan City, the group was greeted with enthusiasm by students in receiving nutritious food. Then to the Tarakan City State Extraordinary School (SLB).
"As a form of government's attention to equitable nutrition fulfillment, the government also provides MBG to children with special needs," said Hilman Hadi.
Hilman Hadi and his entourage also visited SMA Negeri 3 Tarakan City to review the implementation of the MBG Program at the secondary education level.
"Synergy between the central and regional governments needs to be carried out to ensure the availability and access of proper nutrition for the entire community. This is because the school MBG program is a long-term investment in building a healthy, intelligent, and productive generation," said Hilman.
"The fulfillment of nutrition is not only the responsibility of the central government, but requires close cooperation with local governments and all related parties. We want to ensure that all Indonesian children get their right to live a healthy life and grow optimally," he added.
Hilman added that this working visit is expected to be an evaluation and input for the government in formulating policies that are more targeted.
"Especially in the program to fulfill nutrition and improve the quality of education throughout Indonesia," he concluded. (ADV)
