Allegedly Recording His Voice Accuses BG And PDIP Of Judol Appearing, Budi Arie: Focus On Prabowo's Program

The recording that is suspected to be the voice of the Minister of Cooperatives Budi Arie has a long tail. Budi Arie was reported by a number of PDIP cadres to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police, Tuesday, May 27.

The report is related to the contents of the recording, which is suspected to be Budi Arie's voice, mentioning the names of BG and PDIP behind online gambling trafficking. The name BG is said to refer to the name Budi Gunawan, Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs of the Red and White Cabinet.

As quoted from the Metro TV website, which was accessed by VOI on Thursday, May 29, Budi Arie previously responded to the leaking of the voice recording on Friday, May 23.

"I hope the public does not swallowed raw information or issues that are circulating on social media," said Budi Arie Setiadi.

Budi Arie also emphasized that he is currently focusing on supporting President Prabowo Subianto's program in realizing the Red and White Village Cooperative.

Previously, there was a lot of charges related to the online gambling mafia case in court which took place on Wednesday, May 14 at the South Jakarta District Court. In the indictment, Budi Arie's name appeared as the recipient of the online gambling website guard of 50 percent.

The trial presented four defendants, namely Zulkarnaen Apriliantony, Adhi Kismanto, Arwin Jabarti Kiemas, and Muhrijan alias Agus.

Before being appointed by President Prabowo as Minister of Cooperatives, Budi Arie previously served as Minister of Communication and Information (Kominfo) in the era of President Joko Widodo.

Regarding the protection of online gambling sites, in a written statement to reporters, Monday, May 19, Budi Arie denied it.
