Prabowo Please Commemorate The Ascension Of Jesus Brings Peace And The Spirit Of Love

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto hopes that the commemoration of the Ascension Day of Jesus Christ can bring peace, strengthen faith and foster a spirit of love in social life.

"Hopefully this holy commemoration will bring peace, strengthen faith, and foster a spirit of love in social life," Prabowo said in his upload on his Instagram account @presidenrepublicindonesia, Thursday, May 29, quoted by ANTARA.

President Prabowo congratulated the commemoration of the Ascension of Jesus Christ to all Christians in the country.

The Head of State emphasized the importance of maintaining unity in the midst of diversity by mutual respect, respect, and strengthening the ties of brotherhood as a nation.

The President ended his message in prayer for God to bless all Christians in Indonesia.

"God bless all Christians," said the President.

The increase in Jesus Christ is a sacred moment that is commemorated by Christians and Catholics around the world.

In 2025, the Ascension Day of Jesus Christ falls on May 29, marking 40 days after His rise on Easter.

The Day of the Ascension of Jesus Christ commemorates the events when Jesus rose to heaven and was witnessed by His students.

It is written in the Bible of Matthew 28:19-20, before going to heaven Jesus gave a message to the students to spread the love of the Father and teachings that have been given by Him.
