Mitratel Shareholders Agree To Distribute IDR 2.06 Trillion Dividend

JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL) or Mitratel approved the distribution of total cash dividends and special dividends of IDR 2.06 trillion for the 2024 financial year.

In detail, the cash dividend to be distributed is IDR 1.47 trillion or equivalent to IDR 18.09 per share and a special dividend of IDR 590.18 billion or equivalent to IDR 7.24 per share, which will be distributed on July 2, 2025.

"Shareholders who are entitled to receive dividends are those whose names are recorded in the company's shareholder register on June 13, 2025, until 16.15 WIB," said Independent Commissioner Mitratel Gunawan Susanto quoting Antara.

Gunawan explained that the total dividend to be distributed of IDR 2.06 trillion is equivalent to 98 percent of the company's net profit for the 2024 financial year, which will be distributed at once to eligible shareholders.

Meanwhile, the remaining net profit of IDR 42.1 billion or 2 percent was set aside as reserves.

"This special dividend reflects 28 percent of Mitratel's net profit in 2024," said Gunawan.

This subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM), which is engaged in the telecommunications tower business, recorded a net profit growth of 4.8 percent year on year (yoy) from IDR 2.01 trillion in 2023 to IDR 2.11 trillion in 2024.

The increase in net profit was supported by an increase in revenue of 7.19 percent (yoy) to Rp9.31 trillion in 2024, from the previous Rp8.68 trillion in 2023.

Previously, in the 2023 financial year, Mitratel distributed dividends worth IDR 1.4 trillion or IDR 17 per share, with a dividend payout ratio of 70 percent of net profit.

During that period, the company disbursed a special dividend of 5 percent of net profit or around Rp100.5 billion, bringing the total dividends distributed in 2023 to 75 percent of net profit.
