Permenaker Bantuan Subsidy Wage Pekerja Salary Di Bawah Rp3,5 Jutta Segera Terbit

JAKARTA - The Regulation of the Minister of Manpower (Permenaker) regarding the Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) program for workers is expected to be launched in the near future.

"Hopefully it will be issued as soon as possible. God willing (in June 2025). We'll just have to wait for the details, yes," said Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, May 28.

BSU is an incentive launched by President Prabowo Subianto to increase people's purchasing power, with the amount of assistance obtained at IDR 150,000 per month.

The government also targets as many as 17 million workers with a maximum salary of IDR 3.5 million per month or the minimum wage of the province or district/lota (UMP/UMK) who are entitled to receive the assistance.

In addition to workers who have wages below Rp. 3.5 million, as many as 3.4 million honorary teachers can also receive BSU of Rp. 300,000.

Regarding the regulation, Minister of Manpower Yassierli said that his party together with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs were active in coordinating.

"Therefore, there must be harmonization and so on. We will wait for more details later, yes, after the regulations have been announced by the government later," said Yassierli.

Previously, Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Susiwijono Moegiarso on Tuesday (27/5) said that the distribution of BSU for the period from June to July 2025 of IDR 150,000 per month will be disbursed at once in one distribution in June 2025.

The distribution of BSU will involve a number of ministries and institutions, namely the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Manpower and BPJS Employment for workers, as well as the Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Ministry of Religion for honorary teachers.
