NTB Police Fire 2 Officers Related To The Death Of A Police Member In Gili Trawangan
MATARAM - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police have imposed a dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) or dismissal of two officers related to the death of Brigadier Nurhadi at an inn in the Gili Trawangan area, North Lombok Regency.
The Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes i Mohammad Kholid, confirmed the implementation of severe sanctions (dismissal) from the violation of the Police code of ethics.
"Yes, there are two names that have been PTDH," said Kholid as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 28.
The two officers who were fired had the initials IMY and HC, who were known along with the late Brigadier Nurhadi while at the Gili Trawangan inn.
Kholid did not explain the considerations of the NTB Police in imposing sanctions on the dismissal of the two member officers.
He only stated that the application of PTDH sanctions or dismissal was based on the results of the ethics trial and went through handling procedures under the control of the NTB Police Professional and Security Division (Propam).
In addition to dealing with ethical issues, Kholid also said that the case of Brigadier Nurhadi's death was also being handled by the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the NTB Police.
He explained that the handling under the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the NTB Police was related to tracing the cause of death of Brigadier Nurhadi, who was allegedly in an unnatural condition.
