Rowoon Becomes A Soldier For Military Mandatory, Departing From July

Rowoon announced its mandatory military service will begin this year. Rowoon's agency, FNC Entertainment confirmed the news.

"It's true that Rowoon will be on duty on July 21. He will enter the training center and fulfill military duties as an active soldier," FNC Entertainment said on Tuesday, May 27.

Before leaving, the former SF9 member will hold a fan meeting or fan meeting titled Before Blooming on May 31 at Kwangwoon University, Seoul.

The agency has also not announced whether Rowoon will leave publicly or behind closed doors.

Rowoon debuted in 2016 as a member of SF9. Later, he left the group to focus on being an actor in 2023.

Even so, he is still under FNC Entertainment, which is the SF9 agency. He made his acting debut through the 2017 School drama.

This year, he made a cameo in the Spring of Youth drama with Jung Hae In.

He also had an offer of romance drama with Kim Min Ju, but the agency said the actor was still considering it.

Not only that, Rowoon is also preparing his latest series, The Murky Stream, which is scheduled to air on Disney +.
