OJK And Bank DKI Collaboration To Make Pulau Seribu A Digital Island
JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority together with Bank DKI conduct collaboration to encourage the implementation of non-cash transactions in the Thousand Islands area, DKI Jakarta. This is realized through a financial literacy and inclusion program entitled The National Movement for Financial Smartness or the 'Greens To Pramuka Island' on Pramuka Island, North Thousand Islands.
Also attending this event were the Head of OJK Jabodebek, Edwin Nurhadi, the Regent of the Thousand Islands, DKI Jakarta Province, Muhammad Fadjar Chuniawan together with the President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H Widodo and the Director of Retail and Retail Perumda Pasar Jaya.
Head of the Jabodebek OJK Edwin Nurhadi in his speech emphasized the importance of synergy between literacy and financial inclusion in an effort to encourage the welfare of the community.
"By emphasizing the principle of 'no one is left behind', through the DKI Jakarta Provincial Financial Access Acceleration Team (TPAKD) forum, the Jabodebek OJK together with vertical agencies and other financial service institutions are committed to creating equal access to finance and increasing financial literacy for the people of DKI Jakarta Province, especially in the Thousand Islands," said Edwin.
The Regent of the Thousand Islands, Muhammad Fadjar Chuniawan also appreciated this activity as a sustainability effort in making Pramuka Island a "Digital Island" and a model for other islands in Pulau Seribu Regency. According to him, the Thousand Islands area has great potential to become a world-class Bahari tourism and therefore requires support from various parties, including the banking industry.
President Director of Bank DKI, Agus H Widodo in his statement, Tuesday, May 27, conveying that the application of financial literacy and inclusion through digital banking services is the key in responding to various banking transaction needs, especially in the archipelago. For this reason, Bank DKI continues to provide services that reach the people in the Thousand Islands.
This is manifested by JakOne Abank's agency which uses EDC machines as a manifestation of the Pandai Laku program, to QRIS-based payments that can be used as a means of payment transactions on Pramuka Island.
Until now, Agus said that there had been 92 merchants equipped with EDC machines for ease of transactions for the public, with a nominal transaction reaching Rp6.55 billion in the April 2025 period, or an increase of 44.48 percent YoY.
In terms of physical infrastructure for financial services, apart from the Pramuka Island Assistant Branch Office, Bank DKI also provides as many as 12 ATM machines and 1 CRM machine in the Thousand Islands area, which is spread across several islands, namely Pramuka Island, Tidung Island, Harapan Island, Kelapa Island, Pari Island, Untung Java Island, Panggang Island, and 1 CRM engine on Sabira Island.
Meanwhile, the Pandai Laku Program with JakOne Abank agents in the Thousand Islands region already has 34 agents with a nominal transaction of Rp4.92 billion in the April 2025 period. Currently, there are 342 QRIS merchants spread across the Thousand Islands in the April 2025 period, or an increase of 3.64 percent yoy, with a nominal transaction reaching Rp472.52 million, an increase of 155.21 percent yoy, which can be utilized by the archipelago community, especially on Pramuka Island.
The realization of digital transactions in the Thousand Islands which continues to grow positively is the impact of the intensive increase in financial literacy carried out by the Regulators, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, and is fully supported by Bank DKI.

In addition, Bank DKI has also provided support to MSME players in the Thousand Islands as well as realized by distributing Credit and Financing SME Segments for MSME traders in the Thousand Islands region reaching Rp5.39 billion, to 51 traders.
