Police Find A Ritalin From The Hands Of Vocalist Deadsquad
JAKARTA - The police found one methylphenidate or ritalin when they arrested the vocalist of metal band Deadsquad, Daniel Mardhany, on Saturday, May 1 yesterday.
"One grain of methylphenidate or ritalin," said North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Guruh Arif Darmawan when confirmed by Antara on Sunday.
Guruh added that the North Jakarta Metro Police also confiscated two mobile units along with a subscriber identity module (SIM) card from the vocalist's hands for an examination.
Previously, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said that DM is still undergoing intensive examination by North Jakarta Metro Police investigators.
"Currently the person concerned is still being investigated at the North Jakarta Metro Police," said Yusri.
The North Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Detective Unit was found to have arrested Daniel Mardhany in Pamulang, South Tangerang on Saturday.
Daniel has undergone a urine test after the arrest. The result, he tested positive for using narcotics types of marijuana and psychotropic types of benzodiazepines (benzo).
"The person concerned is positive for psychotropic drugs, positive for marijuana and benzoin," said Yusri.
