Polairud Person From The Kaltara Police Allegedly Involved In Smuggling Of Sugar And Rice In Malaysia Examined By Propam
TANJUNG SELOR, NORTH KALIMANTAN - An unscrupulous North Kalimantan Police Polairud with the initials Bripka L was investigated by Propam for allegedly being involved in smuggling 19.6 tons of sugar and rice from Malaysia.
This is because the wooden ship KM Lintas Samudra 07 which was arrested by the Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla) in the waters of Sei Mosquito, Sebatik, Nunukan Regency, 27 April 2025. The ship, which is suspected to belong to Bripka L, is currently still being confiscated for investigation purposes.
The Head of Propam Polda Kaltara Kombes Pol. Badminton Permadi told reporters that Bripka L claimed the ship did not belong to him directly. According totipadi, as Bripka L confessed, there was a lease agreement between himself and a third party.
Propam is still investigating the alleged involvement of Bripka L in the smuggling case. If proven to have violated, according totipadi, Bripka L will be subject to strict sanctions.
