Supporting The Acceleration Of Digital Transactions At FJGS 2025, Bank Mandiri Strengthens The Retail And Financial Inclusion Sector

JAKARTA - Welcoming the 498th anniversary and welcoming the 500th anniversary celebration of the city of Jakarta in 2027, Bank Mandiri affirms its commitment to supporting the acceleration of the community's digital economy through its presence as the main Partner Bank at the largest annual shopping event in Jakarta, the Jakarta Great Sale Festival (FJGS) 2025.

Stepping on the 18th anniversary of the event, this year's FJGS carries the theme The Ultimate Destination for Shopping', FJGS 2025 will take place from June 10 to July 10, 2025. This event involved more than 100 shopping center members of the Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association (APPBI) DPD Jakarta and thousands of retail tenants. Bank Mandiri is here as a strategic partner by presenting digital transaction solutions designed to provide convenience as well as a value-added shopping experience for visitors.

As a form of appreciation to visitors, FJGS 2025 has again presented the FJGS ES Awards Draw Program which will last during the period from June 10 to July 7, 2025. This program is entering its second year and now uses the FJGS ES Card application which can be downloaded by consumers. Every minimum transaction of IDR 50,000 made by users registered on tenants in these malls will be immediately recorded and have the opportunity to get prizes.

Regional CEO VI/Jakarta 3 Bank Mandiri Lourentius Aris Budiyanto explained, specifically for transactions processed through EDC Mandiri or QRIS Livin' Merchant (printed with code 008) will get 5 lottery numbers, more than transactions with other bank EDCs that only get 1 draw number. Meanwhile, the winner of the Grand Prize in the form of a Mandiri Savings Balance worth a total of IDR 300 million will be announced on July 8, 2025 at Artha Gading Mall, along with other prizes in the form of diamond necklaces and precious metals.

Last year, FJGS recorded a transaction value of IDR 12 trillion. This year we believe the target is achieved with the support of various parties, including Bank Mandiri. This program has a direct impact on the retail economic turnover and the opening of employment opportunities, especially for more than one million workers involved in the shopping center sector," explained Mualim.

He also added that the implementation of this year's FJGS coincided with the Shopping campaign in Indonesia Aja (BINA) which promoted superior MSME products fostered by the Jakarta Provincial Government. This is a strategic step to strengthen the role of MSMEs in the city's economic ecosystem.

Mualim said that the 2025 FJGS was designed not only as a shopping event, but also as a collaborative platform between sectors. A series of supporting activities such as Midnight Sale, a badminton tournament between shopping centers, a free CSR booth for health checks, to an MSME exhibition fostered by the Jakarta Provincial Dekranasda have been prepared to revive the shopping atmosphere and strengthen Jakarta's identity as a cultural city as well as a major economic destination in the Asian region.
