30th Birthday, Telkomsel Brings Back Brand Simpati

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Telkomsel inaugurating the evolution of the Simpati brand, the first prepaid card in Asia which has become an icon of connectivity for millions of customers since 1997.

About four years ago, Simpati was officially transferred to Telkomsel Prepaid. However, with this inauguration, the Simpati brand is now being presented again with support from the front 4G/LTE and Hyper 5G networks and Telkomsel's largest.

President Director of Telkomsel, Nugroho said that the return of this Simpati was because the brand had become a legend and had emotional closeness to customers.

"At the moment of this 30th anniversary, we present the evolution of the Simpati brand, whose name continues to be attached to the customer's memory and heart," Nugroho said in a statement quoted on Tuesday, May 27.

Simpati products can now be accessed through various Telkomsel channels on May 26 yesterday. Starting from Grabari, online Grabari, to partners such as Indomaret, Alfamart and e-commerce.

The initial card is available at a price of Rp. 35 thousand, including the 3GB quota and benefits that users can choose from.

"Simpati pioneered Indonesia's prepaid telecommunication trend through credit transfer features, personal connection tones (NSP), and variants. And built a deep emotional bond in the hearts of customers for a quarter of a century," continued Nugroho.

Meanwhile, old Telkomsel users also don't need to do anything, including replacing their SIM cards. Because all benefits can also be enjoyed by existing users.

"We don't need to go to Grabari or do anything to enjoy all the benefits that are in the sympathetic customer. So for customers, there is no need to change cards and so on," concluded Vice President Prepaid Consumer Marketing Telkomsel, Adhi Putranto.
