JHT Claims Rp. 15 Million Now Can Be Done At JMO
JAKARTA - Good news for BPJS Employment participants who have met the requirements to claim Old Age Security (JHT). Starting in May 2025, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants who have a JHT balance of a maximum of IDR 15 million can disburse claims through the Jamsostek Mobile (JMO) application which can be downloaded on the App Store or Playstore.
JMO is the official BPJS Employment application to provide digital services to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants including information on the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program, registration, reporting and complaints to balance checks and submissions of JHT claims without having to come to the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan office.
The benefits of JHT can be paid if workers enter retirement, experience permanent total defects, or die, including when they stop working.
The JHT claim is now much easier thanks to digitization by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan through the JMO application. Without the need to queue or go to the branch office, just through the JHT claim cellphone up to Rp. 15 million can be processed quickly and practically.
The addition of claims in the JMO application is a tangible manifestation of BPJS Employment's commitment to improving the quality of digital services. Head of the DKI Jakarta BPJS Employment Regional Office, Deny Yusyulian, said that the improvement in the quality of digital services through the increase in JHT disbursement limit from 10 million to 15 million has so far increased. This is in line with the increasing use of the JMO application in the period May 2025.
