BNI's Steps To Encourage Digitalization Of Competitive MSMEs On The Global Stage
JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia affirms its commitment to supporting the convenience of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through digital innovation. In addition to financing, BNI has prepared three main aspects in encouraging easy and safe banking transactions.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said the digitization of MSMEs was carried out through collaborative synergies on 3 aspects, including export and diaspora MSMEs, digital value chains, and superior ecosystems.
"Through this strategy, BNI MSME partners can advance to class and encourage wider national economic growth," Okki said in a press release, Monday, May 26.
Okki explained that the first aspect is export and diaspora MSMEs which are carried out through the MSME empowerment program ready to export so that they compete in the global arena through the BNI Xpora Platform. This platform helps develop a wider MSME business to the international market by bridging exporters and importers through business matching and making banking transactions run safely and comfortably.
"This strategic step is also supported by the strength of our foreign branch office network which is spread over 9 strategic points in the world financial center so as to provide easy access to funding and transactions to export and Diaspora MSMEs," said Okki.
The second aspect is the Digital Value Chain, where BNI provides convenience for the derivative of the business of corporate customers and BNI's partners including access to funding through a digital-based value chain scheme. Through the BNI Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) platform, BNI can meet the financing needs of the sale and purchase transactions of corporate customers and optimize working capital and cashflow arrangements for corporations in collaboration with MSME business partners.
Meanwhile, for the third aspect, namely the Superior Ecosystem. BNI encourages the formation of a leading ecosystem in each BNI service area by looking at the huge potential of the MSME segment.
