Get To Know 5 Symptoms Of High Blood Pressure That Often Appears In The Chest And Head

JAKARTA - Hypertension or high blood pressure is often dubbed the silent killer, because it often does not show clear symptoms. But in some cases, the body can provide warning signs that something is wrong. Recognizing the initial symptoms can be very helpful in effectively detecting and handling hypertension before causing serious complications.

Dr. Salaknder Kumar Goyal, Director of Clinical Kardiology Program at Marengo Asia Hospitals Faribad, explained that although hypertension generally does not cause symptoms, there are some signs that can arise.

"Some patients may experience swelling on both legs (bilateral ether). If blood pressure is very high, it could cause stroke or heart failure," he said, quoted from the Times of India page.

"However, the most common symptoms in everyday practice are headaches and fatigue. If this happens, patients should regularly check their blood pressure. If blood pressure is more than 140/90, then it needs to be treated immediately," he added.

Dr. Sanjeev Chaudhary, Head of the Department of Kardiology at Marengo Asia Hospitals Gurugram, added symptoms that could serve as a warning, including frequent headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, chest pain, shortness of breath, vomiting, and fatigue.

If these signs frequently appear, it is highly recommended to check blood pressure because untreated hypertension can cause serious health problems.

The following are 5 symptoms that can be a sign of high blood pressure on the chest and head.

1. Repetitive Headache

A blunt and pulsed headache, especially in the morning, could be an early sign of hypertension. If a headache often occurs for no apparent reason, you should check your blood pressure.

2. Pain or Sesak in the chest

Pain or pressure in the chest can indicate that your blood pressure is out of control. These symptoms become more worrying if accompanied by dizziness or difficulty breathing.

3. Fatigue or Confusion

High blood pressure can affect blood flow to the brain, causing excessive fatigue or even mental confusion. If suddenly feeling very tired for no apparent reason, it could be symptoms of hypertension.

4. Indigenous Heart Rate

The heart that beats irregularly or feels like a loud beat can be due to the heart that works extra because of high blood pressure. This can be an early signal of more serious heart problems.

5. Difficult to breathe

Shortness of breath, both during activities and during rest, can indicate a hard heart. These are symptoms that should not be ignored because they can be related to hypertension or other heart problems.
