Cece Caramel, Runner Up Gameme The MIC 2024 Ini Rilis Single Baru Berjudul 'Fireworks Confession'

JAKARTA - Cece Caramel, the music creator who won Runner Up in the TikTok LIVE's global talent search event titled Gameme The MIC 2024 officially released her latest single entitled Fireworks Conference, on a number of digital music streaming platforms starting today.

Carrying a romantic pop genre wrapped in sweet vocals and passionate arrangements, Fireworks Confession tells the dream of a girl who hopes her idol can dare to take the first step to get closer to her.

Through touching lyrics, Caramel wants to invite listeners to feel the sweetness of falling in love again, full of tunes, hopes, and dreams of the beginning of a beautiful love story. The song Fireworks Conference is the result of Caramel's collaboration with Michael Lin, an international music producer who previously worked on a number of pop stars from Taiwan, Jay Chou.

Cerebrating his experience in the production process of his latest single, Caramel said, penetrating the Indonesian music industry is not an easy thing, especially for newcomers like himself.

"However, through TikTok LIVE, I can not only show my talent to more people, but also have the opportunity to be found by a wider audience to get real support through events such as the Gameme The MIC to realize my ability to become a professional singer. This journey ignited sparks of wonder or fireworks in my life, which became the main inspiration behind the birth of this single," he said, Monday, May 26.

The 'Fireworks Conference' is Caramel's second single, after previously releasing Eka Gustiwana's 'Other Side' after winning the Gameme The Mic event at the national level. Caramel also dedicated her second single to the "Butterfly Family", her fan community on TikTok LIVE who continued to faithfully support Caramel's journey to become a professional singer. This song, which was performed in English, is Caramel's way of reaching more audiences in the global arena.

Caramel, who started his career as a live broadcast creator, also shared his views on the role of TikTok LIVE for newcomer musicians.

"TikTok LIVE not only provides space for expression, but also a real opportunity for newcomer musicians to accompany them to get the attention of audiences, build communities, and be able to release our own work," Caramel explained.

At the 2024 The Mik Global Gamme event, Caramel had the opportunity to represent Indonesia in the final round which was also attended by a well-known DJ as well as the world's top star, Alan Walker (@alaswalkermusic), as the main judge. Caramel's stunning appearance managed to lead him to the runner-up position in excess of more than 80 other finalists from Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Apart from Caramel, two other global-level The Mic gameme winners also released their debut singles, namely the main champion from the Philippines, Ryssi, who released the song My Angel for his beloved son, as well as South Korean runner-up Adoo with Kiss Like This, which marked a new chapter in his musical journey.
