Kia Prepares K4 Station Wagon In Europe, Will You Have Hybrid Variant?

JAKARTA - Kia will present a station wagon version of K4 for the European market which is said to not only have impressive performance, but offers a space for relief by prioritizing functionality.

Although not officially confirmed, the car has been spotted on the streets of Europe with camouflage stickers.

Autocar reported, Monday, May 26, the Kia K4 station wagon will have a length of about 4.7 meters and will be a competitor directly from Skolda Octavia Estate.

Speaking of energy, this car will have the same runway specifications as those sold in the United States with a 147-hp powered 2.0 liter engine and 1.6 liter turbocharged capable of up to 190 hp.

However, there is a possibility that this automotive manufacturer from South Korea will present it in the conventional hybrid variant or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) in order to meet the emission targets set by the European Union (EU).

What's more, Kia has committed to expanding the reach of its hybrid engines in response to the global growth in sales of electric cars.

Kia K4 station del ini akan menjadi pengganti dari model Ceed Sportswagon Estate dan Proceed Shooting Brake yang mendekat fase akhir produksi.

It is hoped that the K4 station wagon can continue the positive trend that has been built by its predecessor. The Ceed Sportswagon model along with Proceed, Ceed hatchback, and Xceed crossover contributed to Kia's sales volume in the UK last year selling around 15,000 units or accounting for 13 percent of the total.
