Galaxy Z Fold7 Photo Leaked Reveals 200MP Camera!

The photo, which allegedly shows the back of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 leaking on the internet, sparked enthusiasm ahead of its official launch which is expected to take place in July 2025 with the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE. With the ongoing mass production, this leak provides an early picture of the latest generation folding phones from the South Korean company.

Samsung is preparing for a major launch for its 7th generation foldable phone line at the Unpacked July 2025 event. An "spy shot" image that is claimed to show the back of the Z Fold7 appears on social media, although its original upload on Weibo has been removed. This actually adds to the credibility of the leak.

The rear camera design looks fixed using a three-camera vertical formation like the previous generation, but the camera module area looks wider, with a slightly lower flash position. This is in line with previous rumors that Z Fold7 will be equipped with a 200MP main camera "significant increase from the 50MP ISOCELL GN3 camera on Z Fold6.

Samsung's 200MP sensor is usually about 1/1.3 inches larger than the 50MP sensor used earlier (1/1.57 inches). This change in size is thought to be the reason for the widening of the camera island.

Based on leaks, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will have dimensions of 158.4 x 143.1 x 3.9mm in open condition (8.9mm when folded), making it one of the thinest foldable phones, even slimmer than the Oppo Find N5.

The chipset used is reportedly the Snapdragon 8 Elite for the global market, combined with 12GB RAM and 4,400mAh batteries which are still the same capacity as the Z Fold6. Bezels on the inner screen is also rumored to be reduced to just 1mm, down from the previous 1,9mm, providing a wider and immersive screen display.

Other Variants: Z Flip7 And Z Flip7 FE

For the Z Flip7 line, Samsung will reportedly use the Exynos 2500 for most of the global market, while the Snapdragon 8 Elite is only available in North America and China. Meanwhile, the affordable version of Z Flip7 FE is predicted to use the Exynos 2400.

Although the leaked image is likely only a dimmy unit, the presence of a larger camera module seems to confirm that Samsung is ready to jump to a new level in mobile photography in the Fold series.
